About Me

The Journey

Growing up amidst the diverse energy of NYC, it's always: "Show love, it's the Brooklyn way!" My path to UX was unconventional, to say the least. Ever since I was young, I used to tinker with Photoshop and experiment with technical and creative projects—like building houses in The Sims with a meticulous eye for what I now recognize as feng shui. However, I took a detour in college and leaned more toward my analytical self. During this era, I spent 4 years as a financial planner. This blend of analytical discipline and creative curiosity fuels my design philosophy: digging beneath the surface to deliver meaningful, user-centered solutions.

I am propelled by a profound curiosity to understand the human experience—a drive intrinsically linked to my love for travel and my Trinidadian heritage. Having explored 9 countries and over 30 cities, I've learned to see the "whole board" by viewing human behavior through a universal, empathetic lens.

When I'm not on the clock, I'm at home being a proud "Cat Daddy" to Leon and King. I'm also a plant enthusiast, DIY project dabbler, and snowboarder. Other side quests I've tackled include making my acting debut in a short comedy film Closed.

If you are looking for a UX partner who digs deep to truly understand the user and ultimately deliver resilient solutions, I'm the designer you need on your team.
